Aircraft noise near airports linked to higher risk of heart disease and stroke

Noise pollution has negative effects on cardiovascular health according to research published by the British Medical Journal this week . It's a step that points out the importance of environmental factors on human health and that helps us keep perspective on prevention and treatment . A few days ago we mentioned another study, in this case a meta-analysis that equated the benefit of an exercise intervention compared with usual drugs in these diseases. These scientific evidence show us that exercise helps heart health and high noise not, so heart care is not just a matter of taking drugs or not .Modify environmental determinants of health is a proposal from community health. Today's news somehow confirms the intuition that  "excessive noise is bad for our heart health " and invites us to rethink our life habitat, because where we live is responsible for adding or removing years to life .
